Kurt arose with the sunrise as was typical. The monks were typically up at 6. They ate breakfast at 7 and went to prayer meetings before going out into the community to help the poor. Kurt took a quick shower and dried off. Drying off seemed to take forever as his body was coated in tiny strands of blue fur. He was unusually energetic this time of morning.
Once in his robes, he left his room and went to check on their guest. He gave a knock, hoping Scott was already awake. He'd give him his answer after breakfast. Breakfast would be starting soon and he wanted to invite him to eat and enjoy some coffee.
Breakfast typically consisted of a traditional German foods like sausages. They also served oatmeal, eggs and toast. It wasn't that fancy, but it was filling and just what they needed to make it through until lunch.
Scott answered the door right away. He was glad to see Kurt at the door and greeted him happily. "Good morning, Kurt."
Scott didn't want to harass him about his decision yet. He knew that Kurt would give him his answer when he was ready. In the meantime, he decided to enjoy the hospitality of the monks and to take the peace of mind that this place offered him. His stomach made an embarrassingly loud noise. Scott didn't think he had ever been this hungry before.
"Guten morgen mein friend. I trust you slept well. It is near breakfast time, so I hope you are hungry," said the blue mutant to his new friend. He then decided to go ahead and just tell Scott. "I prayed about everything and consulted my closest friend here and through zat, I came to the realization that joining you is something zat I need to do. I vould be delighted join ze ranks of ze X-Men."
He did not know when they would be leaving but he figured after breakfast, he'd gather his brothers together to say goodbye. He had packed everything he'd want to take. Kurt didn't have much. He'd leave his robes here and just take the few possessions he had, the clothes on his back and a few more articles of clothing he had special made as clothing would be hard to come by as he had large feet and a tail.
"Breakfast is where we talked yesterday, if you vant to follow me," said the monk.
